Nick is a true Global Citizen with a sincere passion for the great outdoors
and good purpose endeavours. Having travelled and explored some of the most unique parts of the globe and been lucky enough to join several cause-based global challenges; he's a firm advocate of living life to the fullest and making a difference.
He was an instrumental component in the Cipla Miles for Smiles Madagascar Challenge; which was a world first challenge to paddle 550 km across the Mozambique Channel and then traverse the length of Madagascar on foot in under 70 days. Following the success of this came another grand endurance challenge. The Cipla Miles for Smiles India Challenge, which was a world first attempt to traverse India from the Shankaracharya Temple in Kashmir to the Arulmigu Bhagavathy Amman Temple in Kanniyakumari on foot. A total of 4008 km and was achieved in 93 days.
Both challenges were in aid of raising funds for Operation Smile. More recently when not running his Marketing and Communications agency he’s a dedicated National Sea Rescue Institute crew member at Ballito Station 41… SWITCH Bikes entered Nick’s life at this very point where he now uses his beloved SWITCH eBike to it’s fullest as a go anywhere rapid deployment transporter onto beaches for rescue missions.

Fill out our straightforward application form on the Switch E Bikes website. Share your passion for sustainable transportation and let us know why you'd make an excellent SwitchBack Hero.
Step 2: Get Selected
Our team will review applications and select individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to promoting eco-friendly transport and have a significant social media presence or community influence.
Step 3: Collect Your E-Bike
If selected, you’ll be invited to a meet-up where you can collect your e-bike. You'll also sign a document covering all the legalities and responsibilities during your time as a SwitchBack Hero.
Step 4: Ride and Promote
Enjoy a free e-bike for two weeks! Use it to explore, commute, and share your experiences on social media, blog about it, or even host events. Make sure to tag Switch E Bikes and use our official hashtags. #SwitcheBikes
Step 5: Earn Commissions
For every sale or referral generated through your promotional activities, you'll earn attractive commissions. Track your impact and see how your efforts contribute to a greener future.
